Brian Edelson.

Master Brian Edelson started training in Tae Kwon Do, under Master Percy Woods in Pittsburg in 1980.  Master Edelson was promoted to black belt in 1983 at the age of 12, holding the distinction of being one of the youngest black belts promoted by Master Woods.   In 1999 Master Edelson achieved his 5th Dan in Tae Kwon Do and has been teaching now for over 25 years.  He has been a part of the KO family since the schools beginning, leaving for a short period of time to teach a youth self defense program where he had over 200 students.  We are pleased to welcome Master Edelson back home after his time away.

Mister W. Hamidi

Mr. Wahid Hamidi started training in Tae Kwon Do under Master Byong H. Yu at Yu’s Martial Arts in 1989.  Mr. Hamidi now holds a 3rd Dan in Tae Kwon Do and is a member of the World Tae Kwon Do Federation.  Mr. Hamidi joined the KO family in 2002 and is now working towards achieving his 4th Dan Black Belt.

Mr. Tannus

Mr. Tannus started training 1970 with Tang Soo Do ( Moo Do Kwan) in 1970 in San Diego Cal.,  After receiving a Black Belt he continued instructing for the years ahead, owning JET Martial Arts in Pleasant Hill and Karate studio in Concord, both between 1980 and 1995. In the year 2001 he received a Black Belt with K.O. Tae Kwon Do and was promoted according to rules and regulations of the School.  Mr Tannus, started coaching soccer in 1969, he now holds a Premier Diploma from National Soccer Coaches Association of America, the highest rank in the Institution, in his career he has coached several High Schools in the County and the Travis Air Force Base in Fairfield.
